B.Sc. in Fashion Design is a 3- year undergraduate course in fashion designing, spread over 6 semestersThe course covers the study of specialized fields in the area of fashion design, such as accessory and jewelry design, footwear design, garment design, interior design, and leather design.
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have attained the Higher Secondary/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, and with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, State, or national-level entrance test for admission to the course.
The process of admission to the course may vary across institutes. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams for admission, while some select students on the basis of their score at the level of graduation, completed from a recognized college/university.
