In my opinion, your English is not good so you must start to improve your English first because English is essential in the corporate sector. you can definitely drop your one year study and start preparation for cat exam. you have enough time to prepare the exam.

you got 450 marks in MAT this is not a good mark to get a good college. so you start your preparation for CAT exam and improve your English.

If you work hard, the success is not too long.

It will not only help you in getting a good college but will also help you in completing your 2-year MBA programme and end up with a good placement.
