Basically there are 3 options FREEZE, FLOAT and SLIDE. 

FREEZE:In this option students select the seat of choice in a particular college and confirm through freeze option,which ensures the admission is fixed.

FLOAT: The float option enables students to select another college and another branch. Here seat allotment gets cancelled and students will be retained in the admission process.

SLIDE: In this option the student wishes to continue the same college alloted but not the branch.
