Yes there is a slight chance of you to get NIT in your home state with a 78 percentile . But you have to compromise with branch.
The JEE Mains 2022 admission cutoffs have not been released yet. However you have officially qualified the qualifying cutoffs for JEE mains 2022 for scheduled category students.
Based upon the percentile that you have scored you have better chances of admission in private colleges rather than NITs. It would had been better if you had mentioned your home state, there are seperate home state ranks for admission to NITs.
