Hello,

Make your EWS certificate after 1 April 2025 so it matches the financial year 2025–26.
Most states take 7–21 days to issue it.

While filling the JEE Main 2026 form, you should select EWS if you belong to the EWS category.
You only need the actual certificate later during JEE Advanced and JoSAA counselling.

jee main registration requires ews certificate application number...the registration will start in last of October 2025 for january 2026 jee mains ..but councelling process will be in july 2026 ..so if i make my ews certificate now ..then will it be valid for 2026 or it. should be made after April 2026 .
