Hi Muskan

You have scored such a good marks in NEET. Although your percentile is good 81%.

So, you getting admission in DY Patil, Nerul is very tough.
You can try other colleges for admission instead of DY Patil.

Dr DY Patil University BAMS, MBBS, Physiotherapy and BDS Courses Admissions 2019

Candidates applying for admission to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with at least 50% marks.

MBBS candidates should also have to undergo one year of compulsory rotating internship. Six months internship is compulsory for BPT course.

Valid NEET UG score card is required for selection to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses.

Hope for the best. Good Luck

The problem with DY Patil is the fees. The exorbitant amount the college charges for it's tuition fees is something most people are just incapable of affording.

In obvious hindsight, a higher fee structure will entail a lower cutoff per se, since each score band will only have so many people who can afford the fees and are willing to afford it.

Talking specifically, there wasn't any proper cutoff determined here because only around half the seats were filled by the time the counselling was done and before they could schedule further counsellings, the Directorate of Medical Education : Maharashtra was ordered to hold a common counselling for all the deemed colleges by a new ruling that had come midway, hence the score range for the first NEET batch is very variable. It will probably standardise with the incoming NEET 2017′-18 batch of students.

Having said that, there are people with scores as high as 430 [ A very relative high, I know. ] and as low as 150. It’s a very wide range and doesnt really serve the purpose a cutoff does.

What one must remember in making a decision here, is that the teaching here is absolutely wonderful [ I can only say that of the first year, although I’m definitively positive its the same in the upcoming years as well ] and the hospital here has plenty of cases since it follows the path of govt hospitals in that it has free healthcare , which is why I made the decision to come here in the first place.
