Opportunities are there but less as compared to ECE, CSE or Mech. In the core there are HAL , DRDO and ISRO who recruit people from this branch but all them are PhDs or even Masters. And the payment is also not great. Other than that you can go to maintainance services which have relatively higher payments. But I will always prefer to get a masters from a foreign university or from IIT's or IISc to be industry ready.
