Hello,

To prepare for the CUET UG EXAM, first you should know the exam structure: how many sections there are, the marking scheme, the papper pattern and the current syllabus. The exam has three sections -

1) Language section

2) Domain subjects section

3) General test (optional)

Whether the general test is required depends on the course you are taking and the university eligibility criteria. So before filling the form, make sure you know what to choose.

The first section is the language section besides english, there are 13 other languages, including Gujarati. You can choose any language according to your preference. Overall the exam is conducted in english and hindi, but the only language section allow you to choose another language.

For B. Sc. Forensic science, students usually need to select two domain subjects in CUET UG. The most important and commonly required subjects are biology and chemistry. Along with this, one language subject (English or other 13 languages) is compulsory. Some universities may also ask for the general test, so students should check university eligibility before filling the form.

Marking scheme -

• correct answer =+5 marks

• wrong answer =-1 marks

• Unattempted =0 marks

For preparation, it is very important to practice previous year questions of your domain subjects. Also, solve questions according to your syllabus and make short notes for last-minute revision. Besides studying, take care of your diet, sleep and physical activity, as they indirectly affect your performance.
