If you are expecting a GATE score of 726 then it's is really considering the competetion.

Last to last year IIt bombay callled upto 600 GATE score students but only took the above 850 GATE score students as it depends on how you perform in your interview and all.

But still there is chance that you can get Kanpur or Roorkee. Madras is also in reach considering OBC category but for MAdras VLSi or Microelectronics will be missed.

Apply in all the IIT's and hope for the best.
