According to scheme and syllabus of VTU,It is ranked behind the IITs and NITs in India.
There are more demerits and least merits.The syllabus is outdated and rigid.It is extremely tough, results not always on time, very less faculty support.
To be honest, it is least preferred university among candidates and have quite a bad reputation so in my opinion you should stay away from it.
Get admission in any good private college and study well, secure good marks and you will get good placement.
