Hello..can i take admission for engineering in Maharashtra on caste validity receipt? now for cap round they want my caste validity or else they are not going to freeze my seat....so what should i do now??

Hi,

you have still time left to fill the application form, yes you may fill the category if you still not have the hard copy of document , but there is some necessary information to fill in the application form regarding your caste certificate, and during the cap application form filling you need to submit the certificate of caste category.

In a major relief to reserved category students applying for professional courses in the state, the Maharashtra government will allow applicants to take admission even if they don’t have a caste validity certificate at the time of the admission. However, the applicants will have to furnish an undertaking that the validity certificate will be submitted within three months of admission.
