Hey,
You are eligible to apply English as your first subject in B.Ed
Bachelor in Education is a two year post graduate. This programme equips you with the required skills which are important to teach in schools programme. The basic eligibility criteria for the same is to have a graduation degree BA/B.Sc or B.Com from a recognised university with minimum aggregrate score of 50%(45% for SC/ST) or Masters in Science/Humanities/Bachelor in Engineering of Technology with specialisation in science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other Qualification equivalent.
B.Ed programme consists of five compulsory subjects besides two optional subjects which are known as teaching subjects and are generally from candidates' graduation subjects.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
