Hello Harsh,
85 percentile is require by candidate to clear the Jee main.
Around 90 percentile score is required by candidate to get GFTIs,CFTIs.
Above 90 percentile can able to fetch seat in home state NIT with help of home state quota.
For GOOD NIT,more than 97 percentile is require by candidate to fetch seat.
If you have any questions remain than comment below.
Good luck...

There is no absolute minimum percentage for getting admission in NITs.. It depends upon number of factors that is how many students are appearing in the jee mains examination, what is the average marks of students etc.

However, if you want to get admission in NITs of North East Side, you will easily get by getting around 150 marks out of 360( general category) whereas if you want to take admissions in NITs of South side you should score much more atleast more than 270 marks.

Good luck!

Hello Aspirant
.
As per now results only percentile score is released. Our experts team predicted 85+ percentile score is minimum percentile for jEE mains January 2019 . But this may varies from the official results which were on the month of April after the second jEE mains exam is conducted on April by national testing agency NTA officially.
.
If you want to get top Nit Colleges better to get more than 95+ percentile score.
.
If you have any questions further let me know.
.
Thank you!!!

Hello Harsh,

As such, there is no minimum percentile still given as of now, but looking at the trend for the past two-three years we can figure it out.

But that would determine if you just want to go to NIT or you have a specific branch that you want.

for further details, you can even visit our website, where there is a detailed description of all the major colleges and which one would be the best for you.
