As per your rank your chances are a bit low for getting admission in one of the NITs.
Also definitely you won't be able to make it to the top/best NITs.
Also ,you might find difficulties in taking admission in any of the NITs .
However you can try for the home state NITs by your home state quota.
But definitely you do have chances for GFTIs and will definitely be able to make it to one of them.

Well talking about NIT, it's quite clear that you won't be able to grab any seat by looking at previous years cutoffs. And as for GFTI there is a little bit of chance which will also depend on which branch you want to choose and which GFTI you are interested in . For the top 10 GFTI, the cutoff was max upto 50k for general. So by that you can only expect in some lower level GFTI.
