If your domicile certificate is from Rajasthan, your school in Gujarat might ask for proof of local residence too, because usually schools prefer the domicile of the state where the school is located . But it depends on the school’s rules, so you should check with them directly.

For the state board exams, generally you need to follow the board of the state where you are studying. So if you are enrolled in a Gujarat board school, they will follow Gujarat’s rules, not Rajasthan’s domicile.

For JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) , your domicile doesn’t usually affect your eligibility to appear in the exam itself, as JEE is a national exam. However, for state quota seats in colleges, domicile can matter. So if you have a Rajasthan domicile, you might be considered for Rajasthan state quota seats, not Gujarat’s.
