Second Year Secondary Course: The minimum age for entrance to the Secondary Course is 14 years as of the 31st July of the current academic year (for details, see prospectus)
An applicant for admission to the Secondary Course who submits a self-certificate stating, "I have studied enough to be able to study secondary course" is also eligible for admission.
A student who has completed his or her secondary education may apply for admission to the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) to finish his or her course or to enhance his or her performance.
Senior Secondary: To be eligible for admission to the Senior Secondary Course, you must be 15 years of age. As of the 31st of July in the current year (for details, see prospectus)
In order to be admitted to the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have completed the Secondary course from a recognised Board of Education.
