IT deals with computing technologies to reality and it's application along with databases ,study networks. CS deals with science of these application.cs is concerned with software, operating system, implementation.

But both branches has almost similar subjects.

Although there are many similarities between CSE and IT but one can differentiate between in some aspects:

In CSE you have to deal more with theory part and then you have to apply it but in IT you ha e to deal with only application part.In CSE you have to deal more with mathematics because many time lot of mathematical problems come into picture but in IT little knowledge of mathematics, Probability and Statistics is enough.
