Hello Prakash!

After checking last year's cut-off ranks and marks, it has been found out that SC candidates need to have a minimum of 450 marks in order to get admission into a government medical college for MBBS. So if previous year's trend continues, the chances for your sister to secure a seat in governmnet medical college is low.
Nonetheless, do keep a track on this year's cutoffs that will be released by the state authority because cut-offs depend on a number of factors like:

  • The number of applicants
  • Total number of seats
  • Number of candidates appearing in NEET 2019
  • Performance of candidates in the exam
  • Category of the candidate

Change in any one of the factors will lead to variation in cut-off from last year.

Also, following previous year's trend, your sister has got chances to get admission into government medical colleges for MBBS and BDS.

Hope this helps!

Hello Prakash , still cut offs for this year has not released so you can make prediction on basis of last year cut off. As per the last year cut off students with 450+ marks got seat in government college. So it is quite difficult for your sister to get seat in government college with this marks.  But female category may affect,  . And remember that this are not final cut offs,  cut of may change depending on various factors. So be positive and try to apply in various colleges.

I hope it will help.

Thanks.

Dear Prakash, in 2018 under State Quota for SC Category, 457 marks secured a Medical seat in Government Medical College, Dungarpur. That was the cut off that year. However, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like top NEET score, difficulty of the exam, no.of candidates appearing for the exam and no.of seats available.  Going by previous cut offs, 407 marks is less for a seat in a Government College. Having said that we would suggest you to wait until the official answer key has been released so as assess your options.
