The marks u have obtained is not enough for u to get admisssioned in the good colleges for ur further studies in the stream. as u are from one of the core branch and the most crowded branch in the engineering field u get a tough competition.

Ur rank might lie between the 2000 to 2500 which is not enough to get admissioned in IITS. but u can try for lower level NITS for ur admission. The top notch NITS have their cut off starting from 900.
