Devanga ( or Devanga Chettiar) is a Hindu caste from the Southern part of India that pursued the livelihood of textile products, sewing, and cultivating based in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, AP, TN, and Odisha. Abundant parts of this population were experienced craftspeople who worked sewing silk clothes. They were therefore mostly resided near significant textile hubs.
