As you might already know,
Vellore Institute of Technology has four campuses in the country:- 1] Vellore, 2] Chennai, 3] Bhopal, 4] Amaravathi.
Vellore and Chennai have the older campuses and hence higher cutoffs due ti their age old reputation.

With a rank of about 47,000 you could get a seat at Vellore campus of Vellore Institute of Technology.
But not for the branches that are highly in demand like Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication engineering.
You might get a seat for production and industrial engineering branch.
At Chennai campus you may get fashion technology.

For good branches, you must try for VIT Bhopal or VIT Amaravati as cutoffs there are lower. As these campuses are newer, cutoffs are lower as compared to other campuses.
