I think the cutoff might be around 140 out of 200(70%), in sharp contrast to last year's cutoff (77/143 — 53.8%. (7 questions were cancelled)) due to the change in exam pattern.

The exam was made much easier this year by increasing the time duration from 3 hours to 4 hours. Moreover, the negative mark factor is removed, which is indeed a great advantage.

MAT was easier than last year while SAT was a bit more difficult. Thus, as a whole, the exam difficulty level was easier than last year.

It could be something like

SAT=63–65

MAT=75–77

In case you have heard any rumours regarding any increase in the number of scholarships, please understand that it's all crap. I was misled a lot last year.

Edit 1: Ya, the marks have come and 3 questions have been cancelled, making the denominator 197. But I don't think it will make much of a change though.

So just make srsu you score around this and confirm your sear.
