Hotel Management is one of the professional courses that doesn't you to be from a particular field, anyone can persue it from any stream i.e. science,  commerce, or arts.
There are various courses from which you can choose like Bachelors in Hotel Management (BHM), BBA in Hospitality, travel and tourism, BSC in hospice or even Bvoc in Hotel Management . For admission in government colleges you'll have to clear entrance tor example the most famous exam is National Council For Hotel Management Joint entrance Examination (NCHM JEE), while in private universities you'll just have to clear their own private exams to get admission.
Other than bachelors degree, there are many universities that offer diploma and certification courses like catering, housekeeping, Bakery, food preparation, etc.
After Bachelors in Hotel Management, you can apply for a Masters degree in the same or you can go for MBA  in Hotel Management.

You can pursue hotel management after 12th. It is a rapidly growing industry. It offers a lot of job opportunities in future. It teaches multiple skills such as management, food service, beverage service, marketing, accounting. You need to score minimum 50% to pursue masters in future.

There are many Diploma and online and offline certification course is available. There are three exams which are conducted by NCHM JEE, AIMA UGAT BHM and AIHMCT WAT.

At PG level ,it offers two courses such as masters in hotel management, and masters in tourism and hotel management.
