Dear Kirti, JNU has changed its exam pattern from this year  and so unfortunately there are no sample papers to bank upon. However, for MA English, candidates will be examined in Literature in English, Literature in India and other parts of the world, English in India, Literary and Cultural theories, Non literary artistic forms, he Relationship between Literature, Culture and Society and Practical criticism of literary pieces. The objective of the test is to  select those candidates who demonstratte not just in depth knowledge of literature and culture, but literary sensibility and a capacity for original thinking.
