Amongst the two colleges that you have mentioned , St.joseph college of engineering , mangalore is much better than nitte university for MBA placements. Even st. Joseph is on the 7th number in the top 50 colleges for Mba placements. The college has a separate placement cell and placement officer for MBA placements. The officer trains students for the placements  . Most of the placements are in marketing field  . And the packahe ranges from 3-6 lpa.
