No, not at all necessary to apply anywhere after applying successfully for TNEA, but everything comes with a price( terms and condition), think wisely, if you're applying to only one exam, there will be less possibility of getting that exam cracked, so I'll suggest you to appear for more exams in india for engineering, be it any state 

Apply to any of the below exams 

JEE MAIN

JEE Advanced

BITSAT

VITEEE

WBJEE

MHTCET

KCET

AP EAMCET

Although you’ve missed most of the deadline, anyways go for the rest, check the website for the same.

Actually it's depend on how much you confident about your preparation. But personally i would recommend you to apply for more colleges because it provides you the options in case your paper not goes well. And i think there are no losses of having more options. So you should apply for other options of Engineering Colleges Like JEE-MAINS, BITS and many other institutions conduct their own entrance tests.

I think applying for more number of engineering college will give you more options to choose and I think you should apply after that it is your decision to opt for whichever college and fields you want to choose for.
