hi sree, congratulations on your rank first of all, according to last year data, for rank of about 5000, people got in to courses like MS general surgery , pediatrics and even MS ortho pedics in many good colleges including top colleges like MMC in all india quota and in karnataka there are students who got general medicine in KMC mangalore around the same rank, so to sum up you could get good courses like MS gen surgery, general medicine, ortho, for this rank, but u wont get top courses on demanad like radiology or so, but if you have karnataka domicile and caste reservations like SC/ST for instance, you can get any course of your choice, good luck and congratulations once again.
