NIFT 2018- National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced the result of NIFT 2018 entrance exam on March 22, 2018. NIFT conducts its own entrance exam for admissions to a total of 2,370 seats across Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) programmes. NIFT 2018, a pen and paper-based admission test, was held on January 21 for admissions across 16 campuses of the institute located in Chennai, New Delhi, Gandhinagar, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Kangra, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kannur, Raebareli, Shillong, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Patna and Srinagar. As per the official notification released on October 14, 2017, the online registration for NIFT 2018 entrance exam was available from October 20, 2017 to December 29 (without fine). Candidates seeking admissions to NIFT B.Des programme had to appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT) as well as General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates will be required to take the Situation Test in April-May 2018. For admission to B.F.Tech programme, candidates had to take GAT only.
