Hello Shantanu,

Cut off of any entrance exams is determined by many factors like difficulty level of the question paper, number of seats available, number of students applying for the exam and performance of other applicants in the exam. The closing rank for computer science in 2018 was 1059, while in 2017 it was 1978. The closing rank for electronics and instrumentation engineering was 9928, while in 2017 it was  37901.

You can predict your MET rank with the following careers360 link.

Hope this information was helpful.

Good luck!
