Hi aspirant,

If you are willing to give jee and you are in 12 th then it is best to focus from now on as u have to give your boards this year as well . And according to the exam pattern you can prepare for your jee prelims with you boards at the same time it is hardly differ from each other . But if you have 0 preparation and even your basics are not clear then i suggest u to take a drop and prepare to the fullest for next year thankyou .

Hello Disha ,

I completely understand your situation , do not panic , we have a solution for you

The steps you need to follow -

1. Focus Fully on Boards - practice ncert , pyqs, forget about JEE

2.Don’t mixen up with JEE + Boards - you will be stressed and cant focus on either of them

3.About drop , you need to think after boards , if u can be consistent and hardworking the whole year , you can take a drop ,

now just focus on boards , you can give JEE this year to know the question patterns, this will help you to score well next year

hope this helps

Hello Disha,

Currently you should focus on your boards. NCERT and MCQ will cover 50% to 60% of your JEE topics. And after your boards if you really passionate about JEE , you should take a drop year for dedicated preparation and prepare from zero with full focus.
