Hello,
.
You were born in Andhra Pradesh.
And you are Just having your studies in Mumbai.
Then the place where you have bornn or the place where you have permanent residence is known as domicile state.
.
You can be called Mumbai domicile if someone from your family living there more then 30 years.
.
Ask your parents,do they have domicile certificate If yes then you belong to that particular State.If not as per said above points, Choose your domicile State.
.

Shareef Thanks alot...IN MH , if u want to domicile , one should show that they are staying minimiimn of 15 years in MH.My parents does not have the domicile certificate and staying since 2013 in MH and brought one property in 2017 and we do have permanent address in Mumbai.

Yes,here point to remember is on can have many residents but nit Domicile.
.
Firstl you check which state has more opportunities and best career according to your course.
.
Then apply for domicile certificate in that state.

Hi Lokesh,

Generally to get any states domicile certificate the person has to fulfill following eligibility criteria :-

1.Has to born in that particular state

2.Has to study atleast some starting classes here

So, as per your case i think you will easily get the domicile of AP as compared to Mumbai. But still, maybe you have to struggle a bit for this and even need to pay some extra charges.

For better assistance i will suggest you to contact your areas sdm office or go to official online sites.

Hi Lokesh,In such a case if you really wants to have a domicile of AP then just go to a good notary in sdm office or near to your location and tell them about your issue, they will easily sort this out , don't worry. Good luck.
