Hi, the cut off marks change every year depending on a no. of factors like no. of seats available for the course, no. of candidates seeking admission and appearing for the entrance exam, difficulty level of the paper and the results of in a said year.
Last year the cut off for B.A Hons Arts(general cateory) for regular seats was 205 marks(1568 cut off rank) and for paid seats was 200 marks(1821 cut off rank). Considering these, you might get admission (depending on the cutoffs that will be released this year) in the BHU Main Campus in paid seats or in colleges affiliated with BHU like:

  • Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
  • Arya mahila Post Graduate College, Chetganj
  • Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kamaccha
  • Vasanta College for women, Rajghat
  • DAV Post Graduate College, Ausanganj

In BHU first all the regular seats in the main campus are filled and once they are full, then the counselling for the paid seats in the main campus are conducted and at last the seats in affiliated colleges are filled.
Good Luck
