See AICTE gives the stipend to all students who have qualified in GATE and taken admissions - be it private or Govt. The amount I think is Rs 12000 per month. However you have to apply for it giving all the bank details.

If you are qualified in gate exam ,

Then you go to government colleges (it may be state government or central government ).



If you admission in private college,  may be you got fees concessions but not sure about stipend( it depends on college)



In case you get admission in government college,  every month you got stipend for gate eligible candidates.



You have to apply separately for state government colleges.
