Hi

Did you have  all the 3 of physics, chemistry and biology in your bsc 1st year?

  • If yes , then you need to select code 5.
  • If not then , you need to select code 2 as in that case your highest qualification with all the three subjects physics chemistry and biology remains 10+2 .

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

--------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2021  examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

--------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English

--------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.

--------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology.

--------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who are doing BSc and had three of Physics, chemistry and biology in 1st year.

--------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology

--------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

----------)Importance of codes

The qualification code during form filling is just to know your current status:-

* whether you are 12th appearing

*already passed

*type of board i. e 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination or intermediate / pre- degree examination

* if you are doing any course is it  bsc with PCB

*or after 12th you have even passed your bsc.

*have studied from a foreign board.

Codes have nothing to do with your eligibility. What all matters is your class 12th qualification i. e to be eligible you must have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category.

Thank you
