The NEET exam is not held yet. It is on 6th May 2018. You have to wait till the results of NEET and AIR(All India Rank). The admission procedure will start after that at the time counselling.

Yes, You can apply for private colleges of Karanataka state but your chances are average to get seat in any college but you should try, please check details of seats distribution in private college of karanataka for other state students (Apply on or before 13th March). 

Few seats of private medical colleges are reserved for other states and these colleges comes under below 3 associatations:

Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF)

Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA)

Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPC)

a) In KPCF Colleges: 42% seats reserved as private quota seats

i. GMP seats: For 50% of the above 42% seats, only candidates of Karnataka origin are eligible (referred as GMP seats / GMP with Hyd-Kar seats in case of colleges located in Hyd-Kar region).

 ii. OPN seats: Remaining 50% of the above 42% seats are “OPEN” quota seats: These seats are filled based on NEET PG All India merit and only Citizens of India are eligible.

b) In KRLMPCA and AMPCK Colleges: 55% of seats reserved as private quota seats.

i. 66% of the above 55% seats will be filled by respective religious / linguistic minority candidates (MK, MA, ME, MU, MC, MM seats).

ii. 34% of the above seats:

a.) GMP: 50% of the above 34% seats are reserved for candidate of Karnataka Origin (GMP seats). 

b.) OPN: 50% of the above 34% seats are reserved for All India candidates who are Citizen of India (OPN seats).
