Look maira Iam not preaparing for neet .Iam an engineering student I have given my jee mains exam and I scored 96percentyl in it and I also belong to BC-E caste and I registered as OBC in jee mains application and I got a rank of 9k in jee mains under obc category.But the regional revenue department told me that BC-E doesn't come under OBC.And they rejected me to provide a OBC caste certificate.Please ensure that you'll get a OBC certificate before filling application.All the best:)

Dear Maira, you should register with OBC category in NEET. BC-E category is considered to be under OBC and 4% reservation is provided to them in State aided Educational Institutions. In Andhra Pradesh reservation to OBCs in State aided Educational Institutions and in State services is 29%. It is divided among five groups as under:

BC-A=7%, BC-B=10%, BC-C=01%, BC- D=07%, BC- E=04%.
