Hey.
After completing a Law degree from a college recognised by the Bar council of India you would be required to get enrolled in any of the State Bar Councils. Every state has its unique process of registration. After the registration you will be eligible to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) which is mandatory to clear in order to practice in any court in India. After clearing AIBE, you can start practicing in the District court/ High court individually or under some lawyer as a junior/ assistant. In the initial years people usually practice under other lawyers to gain experience.
But to practice in the Supreme court of India you need to first do the above mentioned and you need to pass an exam to become an Advocate on Record. Only Advocates on Record can plead in the Supreme court. To become an Advocate on Record you need to have practiced in any court high court or lower courts for a minimum period of 5 years. So you will be able to practice in the Supreme court after you've practiced in high court or lower courts for atleast 5 years and after becoming an advocate on record through an exam.
Best of luck

Hy Sushant !!

In India, it is the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA which provides the license of being a lawyer to the eligible candidates. For practicing in court , you need to the license of being a lawyer from the bar council of India and you can start your work. To gain recognition , it is advised that you should first work under an experienced lawyer and after gaining some experience in the field , you can start your own chambers .

Hope you helps !!

All the best!!
