The syllabus for the AIL LET entrance exam includes 4 sections which is as given below. The questions are simple MCQs.

a) Law aptitude - 50 marks

b) general awareness - 50 marks

c) English comprehension - 50 marks

d) Mental Ability - 50 marks 

The General awareness sections include MCQs related to Current affairs as well as Static GK. Law Aptitude would include MCQs related to General knowledge of law as well as legal aptitude questions. Mental ability will also include logical reasoning or quantitative aptitude questions. English Comprehension would include MCQs related to the comprehension.
