For appearing for NEET from general category you need to have 50% marks. In this basis even now you are eligible to take up NEET.

Marks should be calculated in a way:  56 + 53 + 41/ 300 = 0.5 * 100 = 50%.

There are certain criteria to be eligible for Neet. As per the Neet eligibility criteria, the candidate must has passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with English and Physics, Chemistry annd Biology or Biotechnology (have to pass in both the theory and practical examination) with at least 50% (for general category) marks in aggregate of PCB (Includes both theory and practical score) and this is 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates and 45% marks for PwD candidates. It doesn't matter if you have passed with grace Mark's. Your PCB percentage becomes - (56+53+44) /300 i.e. 0.51 which means 51%. *First, you must pass your 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
