Every year there are around 10 to 12 lacs students apply for the JEE Mains examination and only 2.5 lakh from all categories get included get selected for the JEE advanced paper which is is mostly enough to sum all that the competition is very cutthroat here in this discipline.

Previous year stats say that at an approximation of more than 11 lakh students appear every year at JEE Main Examination which includes droppers and Freshers.
