If you are completed your plus two in 2017or 2018,you can write jee main 2019.But i think you completed your plus two in 2016,is it?And  there is no lateral entry concepts in jee point of view. For knowing jeemain eligibility, go to

Hello Dear

Yeah definitely you will be able to write the JEE mains after the completion of your respective Diploma degree in Civil but you have to be remembered that since you are a diploma candidate after clearing the JEE mains you will be eligible for the JEE Advanced and based upon your rank you will be get admitted into the IIT as a Class 12th aspirant. You will not be eligible for the Institute's like NIT / CFTI colleges via JEE mains rank .
