Central sector scholarship scheme for ST students

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Tribe students is announced by all the State Governments in the months of May-June by issuing advertisement in the leading newspapers. The annual parental income ceiling to be eligible for this scholarship is INR 2.50 lakh per annum. The student requires to submit it to the state which they actually belong. For a fresh application, one needs to submit the following documents:one copy of the application for scholarship in the prescribed formatone copy or the passport size photo with signatures of the studentOne attested copy of certificates, diploma, degree etc. in respect of all examinations passeda certificate (in original) of caste duty signed by an authorized Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar.Income declaration/certificate of the parents/ guardianApplication complete in all respects needs to be submitted to the Head of the institution, being attended or last attended by the candidates and needs to be addressed to an officer specified for this purpose by the Government of State/Union Territory to which the student belongs. All post matriculation courses, if fulfilling the conditions, are eligible for this scholarship.Hope this helps!
