In order to become a certified financial planner, you must:

Earn a bachelor's degree from an approved college or university.

2. Work as a qualified financial planner to get expertise.
3. Adhere to the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility of the CFP Board, as well as the Financial Planning Practice Standards.
