It is a 4 year long undergraduate engineering degree course which involves training the admitted students extensively in the production, processing and quality control of dairy-related products. Bsic eligibility required is 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects. Few of the instutute that offer this course, are:

Further: After the 10+2 eligibility criteria is met, the students have to furnish a valid scorecard of the All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR, New Delhi at different centers in the country. The admission is then based on merit.
