Getting a seat for B-Tech EEE is not possible if you have completed your 3 years diploma course in the ETC branch. Because of the branch in which you have studied the diploma course, you will be doing your B-Tech from the same branch.

If you have completed your Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, then obviously you can go for the course of the BTech Electrical and Electronics Engineering through lateral entry. If you take lateral entry admission then you will be provided admission directly to the 2nd year of the BTech course.
