There is no doubt  that you are eligible for JEE mains because in JEE mains there is not any eligibility criteria but yaah inorder to get in the elite institute like IIT / NIT you need to have a score of atleast 75% in class 12th. But if you don't have then you no need to worry about that you can also get the admission in other private engineering colleges through Mains.

To be eligible to take admission in IITs/NITs you need to score a minimum percentage of 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile of your class 12th conducted by a recognised board. You won't be able to take admission here unless you fulfil this criteria. You can take the improvement exams and score better to be eligible for admission here
