Dear Prem, you haven't mentioned whether you want to get into Medical School or Law School or Business school at Harvard. At Harvard, you have an opportunity to study small courses, personalized degree programmes and research studies over numerous subjects. You have almost 50 concentrations that you can choose from. Almost 70% of the students who get into Harvard go there with the help of Financial aid. For starters, you need to have amazing SAT/ACT score. Your scores in  TOEFL/GRE/PTE, your Resume, Personal Statement, Essays,  Your performance in the Interview and Good Letters of Recommendation all play an equal role to help you get into Harvard. Harvard looks for what you have got to give them in terms of your excellence. So your essays should be more of passion towards your dream and not because It's Harvard and I want to study there.
