Hello Aspirant

You can choose between two post :Officer for deck dept or a Engineer officer

You have  ways to enter here,after class 12 you can apply for any of the course

1.BSc in Nautical Science(deck cadet)

2.Marine Engineering(engine cadet)

3. BE NAVAL ENGINEERING

4.BE CIVIL ENGINEERING

5.BE ELECTRONICA ENGINEERING

Some national level entrance exam for entering into Merchant navy are:TIMSAT,IMUCET,MERI ENTRANCE EXAM,JEE

For aspirant to be a deck cadet you should have 6/6 vision in both eyes.
