Hello,
You should follow the below given tips to prepare for jee mains and advanced in 8 months of duration:

Time management
Follow a schedule / Prepare a plan
Know the syllabus and the exam pattern well, weightage
Focus more on self study.
Study concepts, solve problems, look at solutions
Solve previous years papers
Take timed practice test series
Group study, hangout more with toppers
Health is wealth
Manage Distractions like fb,insta..
Retrospect your day
