Open schooling is best for students having self control and can prepare without guidance of school. If you are preparing from open schooling then my advice to you is not to get distracted. The most important benefit of open schooling is that you get much time to prepare for the exam. You should focus on your board exams too as students from open schooling has higher chances of getting distracted from boards.

First you should go through the entire syllabus. Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made. Never leave any concepts doubtful or unsolved.
